Petition:Publish books in braille also for the visually challenged

Hello!

The Xavier’s Centre for the Visually Challenged (XRCVC) is spearheading a campaign under the wings of Prof. Sam Taraporevala for the right for all books published in India, to also be published in Braille.

Visually challenged himself, Professor Sam, the sociology professor at St. Xavier’s College, and the Head of the (XRCVC), has never let this fact stand in the way of education, both imparting it to his students, and learning more everyday, himself.

The XRCVC requires 500 authors in India to agree with this , and join the campaign, so that they can fight for their basic right, and take it right up to the parliament.

I humbly request you, on their behalf, to extend your support and to share contacts that you have in the literary world.

The deadline for the petition is 25th of January…so please, all your help is required.

You may please get in touch with the person mentioned below.
